What does out-of-network mean? It means that health insurance companies providing benefits do not have a contract with Naya Health to sell our product for a specific pre-negotiated rate. We’re currently working on this, but until then, out-of-network means that you could have at least a part of the Naya Smart Breast Pump covered! The Affordable Care Act mandates that all health insurance policies must cover a breast pump, and you may have out-of-network coverage.
Every insurance plan is different, but below are a two options to access out-of-network insurance coverage:
Option #1: Put those Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account dollars to work!
You can use your FSA or HSA funds to pay for our pump. Naya Health accepts HSA and FSA funds online using your HSA or FSA debit card, as long it is affiliated with a major credit card. If you have questions about whether or not you have an HSA or FSA, contact your employer.
Option #2: Get Reimbursed.
Your insurance provider might provide a certain reimbursement rate for out-of-network breast pumps like ours if you’ve hit your deductible. Every insurance provider is different. Call yours for the most up-to-date information.
