    Naya Health is the technology solution for modern moms. Our premier product is the Smart Breast Pump which we are launching in the Fall.

    We are looking for community managers to support us in the launch of the Smart Breast Pump. Our community? Modern moms committed to using technology to make their breastpumping experience better.

    We are looking for people who sincerely understand the pumping experience and are sensitive to our intimate product. The core element of this position is an ability to respond to consumer inquiries in a prompt and pleasant manner and tracking responses using tools like intercom and TalkDesk.

    As a Community Manager, a typical day might include the following:

    1. Troubleshooting customer issues in a variety of areas including billing, order inquiries, product malfunctions and application glitches over the phone and via e-mail;
    2. Using automated information systems (but sometimes your own gut!) to analyze how best to respond to consumers;
    3. Compiling and generating reports as they relate to customer service surveys;
    4. Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positivelyimpact the customer’s experience.

    As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will own major portions of our products and pipeline. You will drive the design, analysis, and productization of these devices by using a mix of individual contributions, project management and cross functional team work.

    The ideal candidate has the ability to analyze requirements, translate them into specifications/designs, and then both create and rapidly build mechanical systems for testing. They have experiences driving their designs through the productization process into manufacturing. They also have demonstrated innovative out-of-box solutions and are willing to teach and mentor junior members of the team.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • As a core member of the Naya Engineering team, you will develop an array of smart consumer health devices including, the Naya Breast Pump and other
    • Communicate your ideas, designs, progress and risks to the Naya team.
    • Manage your development projects including budgets, timelines and defining needs from cross functional team members.
    • Communicate ideas and design specifications clearly through breadboards, prototypes, sketches, slides, 2D drawings and written documentation

    • Leverage tinkering, quick prototypes, and team brainstorms to develop high impact designs
    • Both plan and facilitate execution of verification & validation activities
    • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to communicate designs and specs, and drive on-time delivery of components

    Minimum qualifications:

    • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
    • Experience in electromechanical design
    • Experience in injection molded component design
    • 3D CAD surfacing experience (SolidWorks)
    • 8-12 Years of engineering experience
    • Solid work ethic, positive attitude and great team player

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Coding experience (e.g., C++, Python, MATLAB)
    • Experience with transfer to manufacturing and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, LSR, sheet metal, and casting
    • 3-5 years of medical device experience
    • Knowledge of ISO 13485 compliant design control
    • Demonstrated project leadership and mentoring skills

    Leading Manufacturing Operations at Naya Health:

    We are seeking a Director of Hardware Operations to own production and fulfillment of our hardware product lines. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for direction, strategy, planning and execution for all of Naya’s hardware operations. This includes, supply chain management, manufacturing, quality assurance, customer care, and fulfillment strategies. You will also work closely with our hardware engineering team develop and produce our next generation of consumer health products.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish strategic direction and set goals for the manufacturing operations of the company, including growth management, cost, and quality.
    • Lead strategic sourcing for components and manufacturing services across the company including negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with all suppliers.
    • Tackle and solve challenging start-up problems that require resourcefulness, creative thinking, collaboration, and often incomplete information.
    • Direct employees, external resources, contract manufactures, vendors and third-party logistics vendors as required to build and ship and Naya’s products.
    • Manage the effort to establish and maintain compliance with key FDA and other international standards required to ship Naya Health’s product to target markets.
    • Work closely with development engineering to ensure DF(X) standards are considered during all stages of the product development process.

    Skills / Experience:

    • 10+ years of combined large and small company experience supporting the launch of medical products and/or consumer electronics from prototype to high volume.
    • Must have a working understanding of NPI, HW, and SW development processes as well as engineering trade-offs and decision-making in a start-up environment.
    • Experience at a medical device start-up is strongly desired
    • Direct hands-on experience managing international contract manufacturing operations
    • Applicants must have a working understanding of all of the processes related to obtaining and maintaining regulatory compliance of a class 2 medical device.
    • Experience in the materials management of high volume custom plastic parts, from planning through procurement, negotiation, and execution/administration of procurement agreements.
    • Experience in creating international supply chain architectures including vendor selection, qualification and EMS contracts
    • Establish inbound quality control for materials and components suitable for medical products
    • Recruiting, hiring, management of high-performance team when required
    • Experience with facilities management is a plus.

    Education:

      A four-year technical or related degree is required.

Our first offering is the Smart Pump by Naya, the first and only breast pump to utilize a hydraulic system to deliver exceptional comfort, efficiency and quiet to nursing moms. Through our patented smart sensor technology we empower parents with information they can use to improve the health and wellness of their children. We are seeking to expand our world-class team by investing in a Senior Director of Marketing. This person will be an integral part of the Naya Health leadership team and one of our first senior hires.

    The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for our customer. She/he must be able to understand the challenges the modern mom faces, translating these needs and passions – as well as the gaps within the market – to our product team.

    As the leader of a small but mighty team, the Senior Director must be able to develop strategy and drive execution in equal measure. This person will have responsibility for launching each of our new-to-the-world products and determining the mix best suited for driving awareness and conversion. Naya’s products will be carried by some of the world’s top retailers. Our Senior Director will work closely with our retail partners to drive our collective growth.

    The ideal candidate will be eager to roll up her/his sleeves and execute, able to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are eager to experiment with a wide range of channels and tactics, pivoting quickly and often until we discover what works best. Testing and learning is an important part of our culture and – we believe – our future success.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Create and implement marketing strategies that drive customer awareness and sales, including launch plans for each of Naya’s new-to-the-world products;
    • Develop and own the model for customer acquisition and retention;
    • Serve as the key listening post and champion for our customer. Continually identify customer needs, and barriers to purchase through research (especially deep relationships with our beta-testers and customers);
    • Perform competitive analysis to identify key business and technology advantages and opportunities;
    • Evolve Naya Health’s brand positioning. Ensure the brand’s look/feel and voice are consistent across all channels;
    • Lead external resources and agencies to:
      • Optimize NayaHealth.com as a platform for customer education and sales;
      • Develop an email marketing program, including lifecycle campaigns;
      • Test and learn across a range of channels/tactics (SEO, digital advertising, social media, etc.);
      • Harness the power of PR to tell the story of Naya Health and its innovations; and
      • Develop engaging content for these channels (including our website, social media; advertising, packaging, collateral and external presentations);
    • Work closely with our retail partners to understand their needs and develop programs that will maximize our collective success.

    Qualifications:

    • 8-10 years of consumer marketing/product marketing experience at high growth consumer companies, preferably with both an online and retail presence;
    • Proven track record of driving market adoption and expansion of new products while keeping customer acquisition costs in check;
    • A simplifier with a demonstrated ability to break down complex technical concepts and explain them to consumers;
    • Thirst for new ideas and interest in discovering emerging marketing platforms;
    • Strong intuition and understanding of what makes great creative;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
    • Very hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to wear multiple hats in an early-stage, scrappy start-up environment
